AAAAA in our grading means “as perfect as it gets.” On our family pearl farm, maybe 0.1% of pearls ever reach this level – clean surface, strong luster, and a soft white body with a hint of pink glow. For this freshwater pearl necklace 6–7mm, I picked from that tiny group only, one by one, until the whole strand felt even and calm to the eye.

The 6–7mm size is my favorite for a classic pearl line: big enough to be noticed, but still very easy to wear with a T-shirt, a black dress or a blazer.
