This extended 80cm “Starry Sky” necklace feels like a little night you can wear — pearls scattered like distant stars across a fine golden chain.

When I’m making jewelry and the orders pile up, this is the piece I sometimes save for last. Not because it’s difficult, but because it asks for stillness. I have to lay the entire 80cm chain flat on my table, dab glue at every tiny spot where a pearl should rest, and then wait.

That waiting is oddly my favorite part.

I’ll put on a song, let the day soften around me, and watch the glue slowly set under the warm air of the heat gun. It’s usually the moment I feel most peaceful — the quiet end of a long day, with a little galaxy taking shape in front of me.
