Royal Pearl Necklace
All of our pieces are carefully crafted in our Alya Studio, and we hope they will bring you quiet joy and everyday delight.
This is the necklace I reach for when someone says,
“I have a formal event coming up, and I want pearls that actually look like an entrance.”

Pearl type: high-quality Edison pearls
A 12–14mm strand isn’t something you run into every day. It’s bold in the most classic way — the kind of piece you wear to a formal dinner, a wedding, a gala… or honestly, even a simple family gathering when you just want to feel a little unforgettable.
For this necklace, we chose top-quality Edison pearls instead of South Sea pearls on purpose. I love South Sea pearls, but I also love the idea of finding that “perfect middle”: a necklace that still feels royal on the neck, but doesn’t become unreachable. Edison pearls let us keep the luster and presence high, while keeping the price grounded.
One thing I’m very strict about here is the glow. With a necklace like this, luster is everything — it’s what makes people notice it across the room. On the listing you may see 4A/5A, but in real selection, these pearls sit closer to a “5A look,” with the understanding that at this size, tiny natural marks can exist. I’d rather give you a strand that shines like crazy and photographs beautifully than chase “perfect labels” that don’t change how it looks when worn.
If you love the full, old-school “set” feeling, the matching pieces really do elevate it. The bracelet and earrings don’t compete — they echo the necklace and make the whole look feel intentional.
