Mini Raisin Pearl Necklace

I made this one as the “whatever I’m wearing today” necklace. The pearls are tiny 4mm rice pearls, so the strand feels light and simple, but still a little bit refined — the kind of piece you can put on without thinking, and it will almost always make sense with your outfit. T-shirt, slip dress, sweater, blazer… it just quietly fits in.

My favorite way to wear it, though, is not alone. I love using this strand as a partner for pendants and other chains. Layer it with a thin gold chain and suddenly it stops being “just a small necklace” and turns into a whole little story around your collarbone. Add a blue sapphire pendant on the gold chain and… honestly, it’s over. You’ll look like the main character, even if the rest of your outfit is very simple.

It’s a small necklace, but it does something very specific: it gives your other pieces a softer frame, and it makes you look like you really thought about your jewelry — even on the days you didn’t.
