Who is Alya?

Alya is a jewelry designer and pearl specialist, raised in a family involved in pearl farming and processing. After years of traveling and learning from different markets, she founded her own jewelry studio focused on real pearls and thoughtful design.

Do you grow the pearls yourself?

Alya comes from a pearl-farming family and works closely with freshwater pearl farms. While she is not personally farming every pearl today, she remains deeply involved in pearl selection, grading, and quality control from source to finished jewelry.

What kind of pearls do you work with?

Alya mainly works with freshwater pearls, including classic round pearls, baroque pearls, and natural-shape pearls. For jewelry design projects, she also works with other pearl varieties such as Tahitian pearls and South Sea pearls. Across all types, Alya values natural luster, surface character, and individuality over extreme perfection.

Do you hold any professional certifications?

Alya holds pearl and jewelry-related certifications from GIA, GUILD, and NGTC, covering pearl identification, grading, and jewelry design.
